Veranda Senior Living

As a native of the Treasure Valley, Jeremy grew up spending every summer and most Saturdays working around his grandparents, developing a tremendous love and respect for their generation. He learned hard work from both grandfathers and loved hearing their stories of what it takes to be a successful provider, husband, and father. Jeremy started his senior living experience while in high school, where he volunteered at an assisted living facility and grew to love the interaction with the residents.

In the past, as the Project Manager of the Senior Living division at Gardner Company, Jeremy helped plan strategic objectives of developing, constructing and selling senior living facilities for different operators in Idaho, Utah, and Texas.

Jeremy is a seasoned and successful leader with a track record of developing and implementing innovative Senior Living Experiences in many different areas. Veranda Senior Living is the culmination of his expertise and will be the flagship location, implementing his experience in best practices for operations.

Jeremy is married to his sweetheart Sarah Christine, and they enjoy spending time together with their three boys, Ethan, Cole, and Gavin.

Caring for others has been foundational to Amber’s life, and serving the Veranda family as the RN Clinical Services Director is a great honor! Providing care for the older population has been a way of life for Amber which began with volunteering in a nursing home as a girl, assisting with the care of her grandmothers, and later working in an assisted living facility as a CNA. Thus, she feels very at home with the older population, and is grateful for the privilege to be in their lives as they face the challenges of the aging process.

Prior to obtaining her Bachelor in Nursing, Amber worked both as a CNA and as an RMA, which experiences enhanced her insight into what it takes to provide effective, quality care at ground level for the residents of Veranda. Additionally, Amber earned a Bachelor in Psychology, which knowledge has supported her goal to provide understanding, compassionate care specifically surrounding some of the psychological challenges that often accompany the geriatric population and the transition into the Veranda community.

In addition to caring for the residents of Veranda, Amber is grateful to invest in the lives of the staff as well, and focuses on constructive problem solving, teamwork, and personal growth. Ultimately, she believes that relating to people first and foremost as individuals, and recognizing the foundational human needs regardless of status or title is key to providing understanding, consistent, and compassionate care, guidance and oversight.

Finally, volunteering her time to care for those less fortunate has been integral to Amber’s life as well, and has led her to participate in various opportunities such as serving on medical teams to India, filling a volunteer teacher position in the jungles of Belize, volunteering at an orphanage in Honduras, and participating in orphanages in Tanzania.
